Scotland Food & Drink is proud to be re-launching this highly successful and popular initiative which, for two exciting weeks in September, unites everyone across the country from all walks of life to celebrate and promote the wonderful products that we have around us here in Scotland.  As the year of Homecoming Scotland 2009, there couldn’t be a better time to celebrate our nation’s food and drink culture. Our thanks to the Scottish Countryside Alliance and Educational Trust which, since the launch in 2003, has grown the fortnight into one of the high-points of the Scottish foodie calendar; Lady Claire Macdonald, who remains our loyal Patron after many years; and our many stalwart supporters across the country.

You will see that we have a new name, too, with drinks being given a prominent place in the celebrations, in recognition of their pivotal role in Scottish life, culture and the economy.
