La Grange, Basse Copette

A spacious and comfortable self catering luxury gite in Normandy with 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6-8) and 2 bathrooms. A large living/dining room with an open fireplace, a games room, a well-equipped kitchen and a private patio area. Available from June to September on a weekly basis, and for shorter stays during the rest of the year, from €500 per week.

La Grange is situated in a small rural hamlet, Basse Copette, on the Normandy/Picardy border, which is situated halfway between the towns of Blangy-sur-Bresle on the A28 (12 minutes) and Aumale(15 minutes). And, it is only a couple of minutes from the nearest village of Campneuseville, which has a bakery, butchery and a general store. 

At Basse Copette a typical Normandy farmhouse and its barn have been recently and lovingly renovated to provide luxury B&B and self catering accommodation. They are now fitted to modern standards, at the same time they retain the traditional charm of traditional Normandy architecture. The gite and B&B are set in a two-acre, fully enclosed garden, with there is a large, heated swimming pool (5×9 meters), a boules pit (2×15 meters), and plenty of safe space for children to run around and play games.

From this quiet, rural setting everything Normandy and Picardy has to offer is within easy reach, something to suite everyone and every interest. There are numerous well known archaeological and historical sites, various châteaux and museums, and of course the medieval cities of Amiens and Rouen. Paris, Monet’s home at Giverny, Parc Asterix and Disneyland are popular days out from Basse Copette. The nearest beach is 35 minutes away.
