Grand 4 star guest house centrally located in the Lake District town of Windermere, only 2 minutes' walk to local shops and cafes etc.
Built in 1896 and retaining many period features, under our ownership the house has been fully refurbished and redecorated and now offers six en-suite bedrooms. All of the bedrooms have the usual facilities - flat screen digital colour tv, refreshment tray, hairdryer, fluffy towels, alarm clock and wineglasses. The single room also has a DVD player.
All rooms are centrally-heated and fully double glazed, and we have retained our ground floor guests' lounge, with maps and guides to the area. There is a colour tv and DVD player.
Our hearty breakfasts are cooked to order and include locally made Cumberland sausage and free-range eggs delivered from the local farm. Lighter or vegetarian alternatives are available, with meat and non-meat items cooked and served separately. In addition there is a choice of cereals to choose from, grapefruit, fruit juice and fresh toast, with a plentiful supply of tea, coffee or herbal infusions.
Some private parking with free parking on Holly Road.
For everyone's safety and comfort we are a completely non smoking guest house.
