Elephant's Nest Bed and Breakfast

Your hosts, June and John Meehan have been running the “Elephants Nest” since 1997. This was always a dream for June, as being a “Navy wife” she had to pack up and move every few years. Coming upon retirement after John’s 39 + years in the Royal Navy and Canadian Navy we decided it was time to live our dreams. Our resident “greeters”, Annie-Mac, Tosh and Ruby will always be on the front deck to herald your arrival.  Annie-Mac, our Webstie is three years old and Tosh, the Scottie is nearly ten; Ruby, the other Scottie was born May 12th, 2005.  We are a “Pet-Friendly” accommodation; however, advanced reservations are required and pets are only allowed in the main floor suite - The West Wing.  We do not charge for pets.Experience a lakeside retreat only minutes from the Atlantic Ocean on Nova Scotia's beautiful Eastern Shore.  Our AAA/CAA 3 Diamond and Canada Select 4^1/2 Star rated Bed and Breakfast is situated just one minute off the Marine Drive, Nova Scotia's Seacoast Trail.  For those of you with GPS our coordinates are: 44 46 17.7N and 63 12 9.73W At The Elephant's Nest B&B you can experience the best of both worlds, we are - "In the country, yet so close to the City".  Whether you prefer to just relax or be more active, the "Nest" is the place to be.  Swim, kayak, canoe the beautiful lake and let nature be your stage.  Watch the eagles, the osprey and the loons, or just laze on the dock in the screen room or on the sandy beach.
