Barclay Cottage Bed and Breakfast

Barclay Cottage is a five room Victorian Beach Cottage located in an historic neighborhood only a 3 minute walk to beach. This award-winning bed and breakfast is one of the most historic lodging facilities in Virginia - graciously welcoming guests since 1917.  The cottage is thoroughly modern while preserving history through the use of antiques and Victorian memorabilia in the individually decorated and themed guest rooms. Expect a full multi-course breakfast to start the day.  Use the fresh beach towels provided daily and the beach chairs and umbrellas - all complimentary.  Perhaps take a bicycle ride on the Boardwalk with bikes borrowed from the innkeepers. Enjoy snacks and hot and cold beverages anytime during your stay, and grab a few home made cookies in the afternoon and sit in a rocker on one of the porches reading one of the many books from the inn's extensive library.  Your room will have: a super comfy bed with mattress topper, crisp linens, fluffy Turkish towels, spa robes, hypo allergenic bedding and pillows, fleeces to wrap up in while sitting on the porch on a cool evening, hairdryer, make up mirror, specialty soap, shampoo, body wash and moisture cream, am/fm/cd/stereo clock radio w/MP3 input, and internet access with free hjigh speed WIFI accessible throughout the property. There is even a guest business center with computer, printer and copier.
