Soon Summer will be at its end , But here in the Heart of Central New York we still have plenty to see and do , Finger lakes and Wine tours. Hiking to Sailing. Farm visits , Horse backriding and Waterfalls. And local events like the Cincinnatus Corn Festival a Annual town event.

Have you ever noticed that the Pine trees start to show new growth a couple weeks before Easter. If you look at the very top of the Pine tree you will notice yellow shoots. As the days get closer to Easter the Tallest shoots will branch off and form a cross. By the time Easter Sunday comes you will see that most of the Pine trees will have small yellow crosses on all of their tallest shoots

We awoke to a sound not heard in months, The song's  of our feathered friends the true sign Spring is on its way. The crocus are starting to bloom . The geese fly over head in flocks. The deer have returned from deep in the woods to graise in the fields. Seven Days and counting to the first day of spring.

Come celerbrate St' Patricks Day at Alices Dowry Bed & Breakfast all month long. Were offering tradional Irish fare from Lamb Stew to Cornbeef and Cabbage.
